Sweet Potato Fries

Makes around 8-10 servings

Fat: 25 (now this is from the coconut oil so can choose to add very little oil and will lower calorie and fat)

INGREDIENTS

3-5 Yams

1 cup coconut oil ( you can choose how much oil to use but will need some oil to help the spices adhere to yams!)

1 Tbsp Smoked paprika ( you can use regular paprika I prefer the smoked flavor)

2 tsp onion powder

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp parsley

** optional Cayenne pepper for an extra kick****

Preheat oven to 350.  Have 3-5 sweet potatoes.  Slice lengthwise and then slice into smaller pieces will look like long fries. Place cut up sweet potatoes in a container that has a lid.  Melt the Coconut oil and pour over top of fries then sprinkle the Smoked Paprika, Parsley, Onion powder and Garlic powder over top.  Place lid on container and shake the fries to evenly coat them.  Then place them on a pan and place in oven cooking for 40 minutes flipping every 20 minutes.  If you want to add a little kick to them add Cayenne pepper!!!
