CROSSFIT COMPETITOR INSIGHT

Meet Courtney Becker, our Airdyne Pro® model and CrossFit® competitor! She lives and breathes all things CrossFit and has shared insight on her dedication and favorite Airdyne workouts!

Courtney is a born and raised Wisconsin gal. She is a member of Momentum CrossFit 715 in Eau Claire, WI and loves the community there! Momentum has great coaches and staff that work extremely hard to help others achieve their fitness goals.

Courtney's favorite CrossFit athlete is Camille LeBlanc-Bazinet! There are so many amazing women in this sport, but Courtney has enjoyed following Camille since 2014 and admires her work ethic.

COURTNEYS GOALS FOR 2018

Just like every year, Courtney starts competing through an online qualifier called the CrossFit Open. The Open is a 5-week qualifier with one WOD (workout of the day) completed every week for a score that ranks Courtney against the other women in the region.

To qualify, the competitors are fighting for the top 20 spots to qualify for Regionals. At Regionals, the goal is to get into the top 3 which qualifies you for the CrossFit Games!

This year, Courtney heads into the Open hoping to have put in enough time and effort to qualify for Regionals in Nashville, TN.

FAVORITE WORKOUTS AND FEATURES ON THE AIRDYNE PRO®

Courtney's favorite €quick burner€ with the Airdyne Pro is rightfully named €œ"Lactic Death"€.  It is 8 bike calories, 8 thrusters at 75 lbs and 8 speed burpees every 4 minutes for 20 minutes. This is specifically designed to burn! The idea is that you sprint through the repetitions and then rest for the remainder of the 4 minutes until it's time to go again!

One of the features Courtney uses often on the Airdyne Pro is the 20/10 interval button. This is also called TABATA€ which is essentially 8 rounds of that interval and totals only 4 minutes! It's great if you are short on time and need to spike your heart rate!
